Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was angry when Malaysians including politicians, lawyers, NGOs, and ordinary Malaysians criticized him for accepting the convicted felon, Najib Abdul Razak’s apology over the 1MDB debacle.
Did Anwar hear convict Najib’s apology in full?
Najib still maintained his innocence. This means that he thinks he did not do anything wrong.
Anwar has no business to accept or even comment on the apology from the convict. This is typical Anwar, playing to Umno-Baru and convict Najib’s tune.
By accepting Najib’s apology, Anwar is condoning what convict Najib did which is the theft of rakyat’s money in 1MDB.
However, Anwar said that the apology from the convict Najib was done on the basis of showing a good example of leadership.

The convict Najib did a mock apology because he wants to be put under house arrest and be pardoned.

If Anwar thinks he is a good leader for accepting Najib’s apology, why does he keep quiet about other matters?

Anwar promised to eliminate corruption but look who he appointed as his deputy.
Anwar knows that Jakim is useless and incompetent. Jakim failed the hundreds of children and women in who were sodomised and raped in the Global Ikhwan Holdings scandal. Jakim said they were not aware of the deviant teachings.
So, why did Anwar reward Jakim with RM2 billion every year. What sort of leader rewards failure?

Anwar is completing the process of Islamization that he started in 1982. A leader of a secular nation would not islamicise a diverse, multi-cultural and multi-faith country.
Anwar broke his promise to get rid of nepotism and cronyism and no political appointments in the GLC.
In January 2023, Anwar’s daughter Nurul Izzah who lost her seat in the general election, was quietly made his special adviser on economics and finance, despite having no experience in finance and economics. This is nepotism, but Anwar denied it was nepotism. He said “Nepotism is where (a family member) is given a position to abuse power, enrich themselves, obtain contracts and get paid a huge sum. This is not the case.”
Does Anwar think Malaysians are stupid? It was nepotism plain and simple. No ifs or buts.
Malaysians want prisoners to serve their sentences in prison, and not at home. They do not agree that Najib’s 12 years in prison was reduced to 6 years. They do not agree to reduce Najib’s RM210 million fine to RM50 million.
Due to corruption and the 1MDB scandal, we have a national debt of RM1.3 trillion ringgit. Malaysian taxpayers struggle to pay the interest and capital of this country’s debt.
When he accepted convict Najib’s apology, did Anwar ask Najib to return the rest of the stolen loot.
When Anwar criticised Malaysians for accepting Najib’s apology, did he forget that soon, it will be GE16.
The people whom he scolded will unite to kick him out. They already express regret wasting their vote over him.
In the last two years, Anwar has shown his true colors. He thinks of only his political future and his party
Anwar could have used millions to help the indigenous people and marginalized communities in Malaysia, but he decided to project himsef as the saviour of the Palestinians in Gaza.
A real leader thinks about the nation and its people first.
In Singapore, a minister was jailed just for accepting a bribe amounting to several hundred thousand dollars. No leniency in treatment nor punishment shown. But in Malaysia, political prisoners are spoiled by having their fines reduced and their jail time reduced.
By accepting the convict Najib’s apology, he has insulted the Malaysians who want to get rid of Umno-Baru, cronyism and nepotism
In the last two years, Anwar has failed as leader and revealed that his own political future and party politics is more important than putting the interests of the nation first.
